Walnut primary wood with poplar secondary wood. Local piece. Delicate; matchstick horizontal beading along top of base and edge of top. Hepplewhite style, original brass oval pulls with bail handles, light wood oval escutcheons, unusual for this area. Very well formed base, scrolled apron. French splay feet at front. From the Hinsdale family, said to have belonged to Mary Hinton Lane.
